Instructor Carm: Owner/ lead instructor
Carmelo “Carm” Vinci
“Carm” started Roman Empire K9 Academy in 2021 to offer affordable and effective dog training backed by two decades of experience with a trusted name and reputation.
Carm currently holds the position as a certified supervisor K9 trainer and oversees the training and certification of 9 working K9s.
Throughout his career, Carm has trained and certified numerous working dogs in advanced obedience, explosive detection, tracking and narcotics detection.
As the owner of five dogs at home, Carm has a true passion, not only for working K9s, but for ALL DOGS. He strongly admires the bond between owner and household companion.
Carm feels strongly about giving your dog, the proper care and guidance using his own unique methods, proven to achieve desired results. Carm is certified in advanced specialty training as well as DOG CPR and First Aid. Ready for any breed, size or aggression! Your dog is in good hands with his undoubted talent and experience.
Instructor Dom; For the last 5 years, Instructor Dom has shadowed, worked for and worked next to Instructor Carm. As his son, Dom adopted Carm’s style and training methods to completion. Dom has always shown a love and passion for dogs, as he grew up in a house with 5 of them. From the basics to the advanced, Instructor Dom obtains the knowledge for every and any training inquiry.
Instructor Jacob: Taken under the wing of Instructor Carm, Instructor Jacob has been with us now for over a year. Driven by his love for animals, he is soon to be ready for any challenge.
Evaluation
This is always the first step. The evaluation is an assessment of your dog, which helps us understand your dog's habits and "issues". This lesson involves less drill based training and more information. Think of it as an informative meeting! For more information and booking, scroll down below!

Private At Home Training
Your home is your dog's home. It's important to assess behavior where your dog is most comfortable. From sit and down, to heel and climb, we cover it all! This all depends on what you're looking for! Group Lesson
Group lessons have several beneficial qualities, but amongst the most important are socialization, and working through distractions. Group lessons allow us to incorporate EVERY method of training in a controlled environment, surrounded by other dogs, people, and the distractions of the real world.
